Over the years, I’ve created a bunch of different kinds of things for my church, Living Hope—from sermon series and T-shirts to wayfinding signs and summer camp materials. I’ve always found it to be a place where I get to create anything and explore a bunch of different styles outside of my professional career (and some of my favorite pieces have come out of it).
In years past, we’ve purchased summer camp curriculum from other organizations. In 2020, we decided to create our own curriculum (also in the midst of the pandemic where we couldn’t have kids in-person). I had the opportunity to create everything from the logo to the instruction cards and everything in between.
I was also a part of the video content, dressed up as Doc from Back to the Future (someone had to know).
